Electrician – Job Description

We are looking for motivated, fully qualified Electricians to join our team across our contracts. As an Electrician, you will work alongside supervisors, Electricians and apprentices, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and high-quality workmanship. Electricians must be willing to support apprentice training and development.

Night shifts and occasional weekends are required and are paid at an enhanced rate.

Electrician Duties

• EICRs, PPM, reactive and remedial works
• Installation of containment and wiring systems
• Inspection and testing
• Working collaboratively with Electricians, apprentices and supervisors
• Completing all electrical work safely and to a high standard

Electrician Qualifications & Skills

• C&G NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition
• Time served preferred
• Installation and EICR experience
• 2391 or equivalent; experience essential, qualification preferred
• Railway experience preferred
• Full clean UK driving licence preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

Electrician Package

• Up to £52,000, depending on experience
• Overtime available

Full-time, permanent | 40+ hours per week | Day/night shifts | Monday–Friday | Overtime & weekend availability

Successful Electricians must complete a Network Rail medical, including drug and alcohol testing. A failed test will result in employment being ceased immediately.
