Job description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous.
