Electronics System Engineer
You will be joining an established technology business developing high-performance electronic solutions for demanding applications and working at the forefront of advanced communications technology through out space and defence sectors.
They are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the development of innovative electronic products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions from concept through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits
- Produce technical specifications, schematics, and support PCB design activities
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities as well as wiring, harness and technical documentation
- Work closely with hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement
- Working with interfaces including PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN, I²C and SPI
About You
- Degree-qualified in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Experience in analogue and digital electronic design
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Understanding of electronic testing, debugging, and laboratory equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Desirable Skills
- Experience within RF, communications, or high-frequency electronics
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles and electronic manufacturing processes
- Relevant industry standards, including IEC (phone number removed), IEC 61000, CISPR, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS50881.
