Location: Halton
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Duration: Ongoing

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced English Tutor to provide individualised tuition to a learner in Halton.

The role would be ideal for an educator who can make English engaging and accessible while supporting a learner to develop both their academic skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging 1:1 English tuition
Support development across reading, writing and comprehension
Identify individual areas for improvement
Adapt lessons to suit the learner's ability and interests
Encourage confidence and positive engagement
Prepare appropriate resources and activities
Monitor learner progress

Requirements
Strong subject knowledge in English
Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative and adaptable approach to teaching
Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable
Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
