Experienced Social Worker -Front Door Team - North Somerset

Job description

Experienced Social Worker required for work within the Children Front Door Team in the North Somerset. Long Term contracts in beautiful. 37 hrs a week with flexible working Competitive rates of pay to £40ph.

About the Role

As part of the Front Door Team, you will be responsible for receiving and assessing referrals, identifying risks, and making timely decisions to ensure children and young people receive the right support at the right time. Working within a fast-paced multi-agency environment, you will undertake screening, assessments, strategy discussions, and safeguarding interventions to promote positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming referrals and undertake child-focused assessments.
Assess risk and make informed decisions regarding thresholds and interventions.
Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries where appropriate.
Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings.
Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, police, and partner agencies.
Develop effective plans to safeguard children and promote wellbeing.
Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case recordings and reports.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
