Extreme Cleaning Operative – Coventry & Warwickshire 
Location: Coventry & Warwickshire
Job Type: Temporary / Ad Hoc / Ongoing
Pay Rate: Competitive – depending on experience
Hours: Full-day shifts, 
Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Extreme Cleaning Operatives to join our team, working across Coventry, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
About the RoleThis is not a standard domestic cleaning position. You will be required to carry out extreme and specialist cleaning of abandoned and heavily neglected properties, helping to return homes to a clean, safe and habitable condition.
The work is ad hoc, so applicants must be flexible and available to accept shifts when required. Shifts will generally be full-day assignments, and locations can vary across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The properties may have been left vacant or abandoned for periods of time and, as a result, you may encounter:

• Unpleasant or strong smells
• Significant levels of dirt and grime
• Rubbish and unwanted items
• Heavily soiled areas
• Properties requiring extensive deep cleaning
• Potentially unpleasant and challenging working conditions

Applicants must therefore be comfortable working in these types of environments.
Duties will include:

• Deep cleaning and sanitising properties
• Removing rubbish and unwanted items
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, floors and other areas
• Using specialist cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Following strict health and safety procedures
• Wearing the required PPE at all times
• Working as part of a team to complete properties to a high standard
• Travelling to different locations across Coventry and Warwickshire

PPE & TrainingFull PPE will be provided, including masks, gloves and any other protective equipment required for the role.
You will also be required to use specific cleaning chemicals and products, with appropriate guidance provided on their safe and correct use.

• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to drive and have access to their own vehicle
• Physically fit and able to carry out demanding cleaning duties
• Comfortable working in unpleasant environments
• Not afraid of dirty or challenging cleaning jobs
• Flexible and available for ad hoc, full-day work
• Able to travel to different locations across Coventry and Warwickshire
• Able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential – attitude and reliability are key

This is ad hoc work, so hours are not guaranteed every day. However, there is potential for ongoing work for reliable candidates who are flexible and perform well.
