Fabricator / Welder

Grantham

 £15ph - £16ph

7am – 5pm Monday – Thursday

Immediate starts available.

Temporary with the potential to become Permanent.

Due to an increase in orders, we have a requirement for an immediate start for a Welder Fabricator for our long established client in Grantham.

You need to have experience with fabrication / reading and understanding engineering drawings / working with mild steel and able to build / fabricate in a fast-paced engineering environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding and fabrication of various components and structures.
• Reading and working from basic drawings and specifications.
• Preparing, cutting, measuring, and assembling materials.
• Carrying out welding to a high standard.
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Using workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Assisting with general fabrication and workshop duties.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Getting involved in other workshop tasks as required.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements for the Welder Fabricator:

• MIG welding experience is essential.
• Fabrication experience is required.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings is essential.
• Able to produce good-quality welds with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team.

This is a fantastic Temporary with the potential to become Permanent opportunity working 4 days week 7am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, for a skilled and reliable Welder/Fabricator looking for a long-term position.
