Fabricator Welders

Job description

We are looking to recruit experienced Fabricator / Welders to join our client's main metal fabrication facility in Bathgate.

You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of anti-vandal cabins, internal and external staircases, ramps, and associated steel structures used within our modular buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and MIG welding of steel components in various positions
• Manufacture of staircases, ramps, and structural steelwork
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety
• Supporting production targets in a fast-paced environment

About You

• Time-served Fabricator/Welder with extensive experience in steel fabrication
• Fully competent in MIG welding
• Experience working with structural steelwork (e.g. stairs, ramps)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexible approach to overtime when required

Basic rate of pay £17.00 per hour

These opportunities are initially on an ongoing temporary basis but could lead to full-time permanent for the right candidates
