Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, £28,840.00, working in a supportive team.

Location - Rotherham, easily commute from Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield, Mexborough, Wath upon Dearne, Rawmarsh, Swinton, Dinnington and surrounding areas.

This Factory Administrator role is a key position within the business, providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure accurate information, efficient processes and outstanding customer service. The successful Factory Administrator will work within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting operational departments and helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities of the Factory Administrator

  • Manage correspondence and communication across the business.
  • Undertake data input, data retrieval and routine reporting.
  • Update and maintain filing systems, databases and company records.
  • Process paperwork accurately and efficiently to a high standard.
  • Support the wider team in achieving business objectives.
  • Provide administrative support within a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are maintained accurately.
  • Liaise professionally with internal departments and external customers.

Ideal Experience for the Factory Administrator

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Factory Administrator, General Administrator, Office Administrator or Plant Administrator.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, factory or industrial environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
