Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester to join our client’s reputable automotive workshop in Derby. Duties of the Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester include:

• Carrying out MOT testing strictly to DVSA standards
• Performing routine servicing, basic maintenance, and light mechanical repairs
• Conducting inspections and diagnosing vehicle issues efficiently
• Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations
• Maintaining accurate documentation and detailed job records
• Working collaboratively within a busy workshop team
• Delivering excellent customer service and professional advice

Requirements for the Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester role:

• Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
• Level 3 qualification preferred, or Level 2 qualification with strong experience
• Proven experience in fast-fit or a busy workshop environment
• Competence in vehicle servicing and basic mechanical repairs
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Full UK driving licence
