Wolverhampton | £26,000–£30,000 + Guaranteed Bonus | Permanent

A leading CNC machine tool manufacturer is looking for a Field Maintenance Technician to cover the Wolverhampton area. This vacancy has arisen through internal promotion — a sure sign of how this business invests in and progresses its people.

No CNC background? No problem. The right candidate will receive full training from day one. What matters most is a solid mechanical foundation, a sharp instinct for fault-finding and a genuine desire to build a career in field service engineering with real long-term potential.

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on CNC equipment at customer sites across the region

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to a high standard while representing the business professionally

• Managing your own diary and travelling independently to client locations

• Keeping tools, equipment and company vehicle maintained to a professional standard

What We’re Looking For

• Solid mechanical maintenance background — workshop, production maintenance or similar

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

• A fast learner who picks up new technical skills quickly and confidently

• Self-sufficient, proactive and comfortable working independently in the field

• Full UK driving licence

• Happy with regular regional travel around the Wolverhampton area

• CNC machine tool experience is a bonus — attitude and mechanical aptitude matter far more
