Field Service Engineer - HVAC
Location: UK Wide (Extensive Travel Required)
Salary: £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van + All Expenses Covered
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects across the UK?
We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering team responsible for the maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of HVAC systems. Working at customer sites nationwide, you'll play a key role in diagnosing faults, delivering engineering solutions and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands on work, problem solving and travelling to a variety of locations as part of a highly skilled field service team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and refrigeration related faults.
- Deliver modification and upgrade programmes in line with project requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning and system validation activities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise professionally with customers and site personnel.
- Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately.
- Support project delivery across multiple customer locations throughout the UK.
✅ Proven experience maintaining and fault finding on HVAC systems.
✅ FGAS Certification.
✅ Brazing qualification and practical brazing experience.
✅ Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding abilities.
✅ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
✅ Customer facing experience and strong communication skills.
✅ Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable- Experience working within transport, rail, industrial, manufacturing, facilities management or field service environments.
- Experience commissioning or modifying HVAC equipment.
- £45,000 Basic Salary

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing to:
- Stay away from home for approximately 95% of the time.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK.
- Work flexibly to meet customer and project requirements.
- Support occasional weekend working where required.
