Field Service Engineers x 3 – Industrial Bakery Manufacturing

Location             UK wide can be based anywhere with reasonable motorway links

North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, East Midlands, South East, South West, Birmingham, Coventry, Oxford, Leicester, Sheffield, Peterborough, Northampton, M1, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedford, Bristol

Salary                  circa £55,000 – 60,0000 basic + car or van + overtime / door to door + private health care + 10 - 15% bonus + pension + 33 days holiday + training + credit card, fuel card, expenses, allowances

Hours              Monday to Friday (weekend work / overtime available if desired)

The Job:

• Varied work including service, maintenance, installations, upgrades and occasional breakdowns for food & packaging machinery.
• Read mechanical and electrical drawings / schematics, fault finding, diagnostics, repair, installations.
• Educate customers on use and maintenance.
• Working on various industrial bakery machinery.

The Person:

• Multiskilled maintenance or service experience in food / packaging.
• Experience in industrial bakery sector useful but not essential.
• Flexible to travel and stay away from home – depending on where you live this may be a few nights per month on average.    
• Health & safety and hygiene focused, friendly, proactive, good communication, desire to learn and improve.  
• Machinery experience may include conveyors, dosing equipment, spiral mixers, high speed mixers, dough processing , dividers, moulders, provers, depositors, tunnel ovens, rack ovens, spiral conveyors, coolers, slicers, checkweighers, scanners, autoloaders, metal detectors, X-ray inspection, pack validation vision systems, sealing machinery, seal integrity systems, automated boxing and sleeving systems, labellers, palletisers, end of line inspection and automation systems.
