Finance Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Desborough 
Salary: £15.38 per hour 
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will support the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, customer accounts, and supplier records.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking customer payments over the telephone.
  
  
• Posting and processing sales invoices from websites, Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.
  
  
• Reconciling and separating payments from the day book.
  
  
• Posting trade account invoices.
  
  
• Creating and maintaining customer accounts.
  
  
• Creating and maintaining supplier accounts.
  
  
• Posting bank receipts accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• Setting up supplier payment runs.
  
  
• Assisting with general finance and administrative duties as required.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  
  
• Good organisational and time management skills.
  
  
• Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
