Job description
A commercially focused Finance Business Partner is required to support a complex facilities management portfolio across the South East and South West.Working alongside senior operational leaders, you'll provide financial insight, challenge and guidance to improve profitability, strengthen contract performance and support strategic decision-making.
The Role
As the Finance Business Partner, you'll:
- Partner with Operational Directors and senior stakeholders on commercial and financial decisions.
- Own management accounts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting across your portfolio.
- Analyse financial and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Work with commercial teams to improve profitability, billing, cash collection and financial control.
- Support bids, mobilisations, business cases and change programmes with financial modelling and analysis.
- Drive improvements in financial reporting, processes, automation and governance.
To be successful as the Finance Business Partner, you'll have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
- At least five years' post-qualified commercial finance or business partnering experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience working under IFRS.
- Proven budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial and operational data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Facilities management, defence, asset management or complex operational experience would be advantageous.
- £75,000–£90,000 annual salary.
