Finance Business Partner

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join North West Leicestershire Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• To deliver financial accounting and drive performance improvements through effective financial monitoring, advice and support by partnering with services

• Champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance and overall value for money with service areas.

• Produce month end financial monitoring and lead services in undertaking regular and timely review     and challenge.

• Support and advise strategic and operational decision-making, driving commercial opportunities and better business performance.

• Undertake specific duties as part of the production of the annual statement of accounts.

Essential Requirements

• AAT Qualified 

• Minimum of three years post qualification experience within a financial environment

• Ability to interpret and advise on financial and performance data
