Fire and Security Service Engineer

Basic Salary £36,000–£42,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Fire and Security specialist that has built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and looking after its engineers. The company continues to grow through long-standing customer relationships, repeat business and its commitment to delivering a genuinely high standard of service.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive and experienced engineering team where your contribution will be valued. The business offers strong earning potential, an exceptionally light call-out rota and a manageable regional workload with unnecessary travel.

Responsibilities as a Fire and Security Service Engineer

• Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding Fire and Security systems
• Working across Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms
• Diagnosing faults and completing remedial and small works where required
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant standards and regulations
• Providing a professional service and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Covering Leicester and the surrounding areas
• Participating in a 1-in-16-week call-out rota

Package & Benefits for a Fire and Security Service Engineer

• Basic salary of £36,000–£42,000
• Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way
• Excellent 1-in-16-week call-out rota
• £225 standby payment
• Call-outs paid door-to-door at 1.5x and 2x overtime rates
• Annual KPI bonus of up to £1,500
• Company van with personal use
