2x FLT Counterbalance Operative – 8 Tonne

Rate - £17.98 Per Hour

Shift Pattern

• 4 on / 4 off, rotating days and nights
• Days: 5:30am – 6:00pm
• Nights: 5:30pm – 6:00am

The Role

We are recruiting two  experienced FLT Counterbalance Operative to work at a heavy manufacturing site in Desford.

The Role

We are recruiting 2 experienced 8-tonne FLT Counterbalance Operatives (B2) to join a heavy manufacturing site in Desford.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe movement of materials and goods, supporting loading and unloading operations, and ensuring the smooth running of site activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating an 8-tonne counterbalance forklift to move, load and unload goods.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles and containers.
• Transporting materials and stock to designated storage areas.
• Completing daily FLT safety checks and reporting any faults or defects.
• Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating an 8-tonne counterbalance FLT (B2).
• Relevant, valid FLT licence preferred, subject to site requirements.
• Ability to pass a site drug and alcohol test.
• Strong safety awareness and a reliable, responsible attitude.
• Flexibility to work a rotating 4-on / 4-off days and nights shift pattern
