Job Description:

The Butchers Recruiter are looking for several Food Production Operatives position in Coventry. These are long-term opportunities, with ongoing work from June until December 2026. 

You will be working in a chilled environment, handling raw or cured meat (pork/bacon/gammon) through processing, slicing, packing, and delivery - all to customer specifications and quality standards.

Working Hours:
(Two-week rotating pattern)

• 06:00 – 18:00
• Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Pay Rates:

• £13.29 per hour

What you’ll be doing as Food Production Operative:

• Processing, slicing, and weighing products
• Grading and packing to customer specs
• Checking labels and packaging
• Palletising finished goods
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Reporting health & safety concerns
• Working as part of a team to meet targets
• Following all company policies and procedures
