FOUNDRY OPERATIVES – LEICESTER

The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established foundry based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are looking to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided.

No previous foundry experience? No problem! If you have a good work ethic, a positive attitude and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you!

The Role

As a Foundry Operative, your duties may include:

• Assisting with the production and casting of metal components.
• Operating machinery and equipment safely.
• Handling and moving materials within the foundry.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.

Working Hours

Training Shift – Days

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 – 16:00
• £12.71 per hour

Once Fully Trained – Night Shift

• Monday to Thursday
• 18:00 – 06:00

Please note: You will initially be required to train on day shifts before moving onto the permanent night shift pattern.

• Previous manufacturing or foundry experience is beneficial but not essential.
