Freight Analyst / Traffic & Customs Manager

£35 - £36 per hour + Early Friday Finish + Stable Hours + Long-Term Contract + Onsite Role

Are you a Freight Analyst, Logistics Analyst or Traffic & Customs professional looking for a long-term contract role with stable hours and an early finish on a Friday, where you can take ownership of day-to-day freight, traffic and customs administration for a high-volume operation?

On offer is a fully site-based position within a freight team, supporting transportation operations through accurate invoice verification, reporting and data analysis, whilst acting as the key point of contact for traffic and customs queries across internal stakeholders and suppliers.

This company are a recognised name in their sector, known for robust processes and a strong operational footprint. Due to continued demand and growing shipment volumes, they are looking to add to their freight and transportation support function.

In this role you will analyse freight and transportation data, validate and process freight invoices, investigate queries with suppliers and internal teams, and produce routine performance reports. You will use Excel daily to manipulate large data sets, spot discrepancies and support continuous improvement across freight processes.

This role would suit someone from a freight / logistics / transportation / supply chain or invoice processing background, looking for a reliable contract position with steady hours, long-term stability, and responsibility for keeping freight and customs processes accurate and compliant.

The Role:

• Freight data analysis and reporting to support logistics performance
• Validate, process and reconcile freight invoices; resolve queries with suppliers/internal teams
• Support traffic and customs documentation / coordination as part of the freight function
• Excel-based analysis of large data sets (pivot tables/lookups desirable)
• Fully onsite, Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 / 07:30-16:00 with early finish Friday

The Person:

• Experience in Freight / Logistics / Transportation / Supply Chain, Accounts Admin or Invoice Processing
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail when working with large volumes of data
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
