A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Leicester is seeking a passionate French Teacher to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire pupils to develop confidence, fluency, and a genuine enthusiasm for languages and different cultures.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.
• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote language acquisition.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where applicable.
• Promote cultural awareness through enrichment activities and educational visits.
• Support whole-school initiatives and departmental development.

Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching French within a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and strong subject knowledge.
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
• Have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Be able to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
