Work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, contractors, tenants and external stakeholders to maintain high service standards. Provide training, support and technical guidance on compliance procedures, systems and regulatory requirements.

Support procurement activities, including the preparation of specifications, tender documentation and contract evaluations. Manage budgets effectively, monitor expenditure and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising safety or compliance.

Essential Experience and Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience within a commercial gas environment, together with current ACS Commercial Gas Safe certification.

You will have proven experience managing large-scale compliance contracts and contractor performance, alongside strong knowledge of gas safety legislation, statutory requirements and building compliance regulations.

Experience conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments is essential, as is familiarity with compliance databases, management systems and performance reporting tools.

You will also have a proven track record of maintaining statutory compliance within a property, facilities management or building services environment.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally when required are essential.

You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, alongside exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.

Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills are important, as is the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple compliance activities simultaneously.

You will demonstrate strong auditing, reporting and record-keeping capabilities, together with commercial awareness of budget management and contractor performance monitoring.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems is required. A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify risks and implement practical solutions, is also essential.
