General Labourer- Joinery  

Location: Kettering 
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 4:30pm
Salary:  £12.71

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our busy joinery workshop. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with timber and hand tools and is comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the manufacture of timber windows and doors.
  
  
• Using nail guns and a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
  
  
• Moving timber and materials around the workshop.
  
  
• Supporting Bench Joiners with assembly and production tasks.
  
  
• Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and organised.
  
  
• Always following health and safety procedures.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a general labouring or woodworking environment.
  
  
• Experience using nail guns and hand tools.
  
  
• Manufacturing environment is desirable.
  
  
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
  
  
• Willing to learn and work in a busy production environment.
  
  

Working Environment

• Workshop-based role working with timber.
  
  
• Part of a friendly team of 8 people.
  
  
• The workshop can become dusty due to wood cutting and machining, so candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and wearing the appropriate PPE.
