Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000
Location: Leicester

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established ground engineering consultancy in Leicester. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of infrastructure, commercial, residential, and industrial projects across the Midlands and wider UK.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be involved in all aspects of ground investigation and geotechnical design, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake geotechnical analysis and interpretative reporting
• Carry out foundation recommendations and slope stability assessments
• Assist with ground investigation planning and supervision
• Produce factual and interpretative reports
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams
• Support junior engineers and contribute to project delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related subject
• Experience within geotechnical engineering or ground investigation
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant geotechnical software is beneficial
• Full UK driving licence
