Graduate Civil Engineer (Highways)

£28,000 - £30,000 + Hybrid + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Flexitime + Discount Reward Scheme

Are you an aspiring Civil Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career within a prestigious company, offering excellent industry training to make you a fully-fledged Civil Engineer with further progression to senior positions?

In this role you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of highways projects all over Nottinghamshire such as junction protections, road markings and signage. You will lead the design of these projects, ensuring quality, budget and time frames are achieved, manage Traffic Regulation Order improvements and review externally designed schemes to ensure compliance and quality.

Founded over a decade ago, this company design, construct and maintain highway systems. This ranges from consultations of infrastructure improvement, electrical works and the building of roads. This company is rapidly expanding and looking to take on more contracts, whilst providing the best service they can to their clients.

This role would suit a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to join a well-established company that will value your hard work with a fantastic work life balance with tailored training on highways design.

The Role:

• Lead the design and continuous improvement for highways, such as junction protections, road markings and signage
• Ensure quality, budgets and time frames are met and manage Traffic Regulation Orders
• Review externally designed schemes to ensure compliance with highway standards
• Monday to Friday, flexitime available. Hybrid working hours 3 days in office
