Head of Programmes 📍 Saffron Walden, Essex | 💼 Permanent, Full-time | 💰 Competitive Salary

TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Programmes to join a leading engineering organisation in Saffron Walden.

Reporting to the Group Technical & Engineering Director, you will lead multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, budgets, resources and schedules.
• Manage risks, issues and project performance.
• Lead internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships and provide senior-level reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across project management processes.
• Mentor and develop project team members.

About You

• 5+ years' project/programme management experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and project risks.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Engineering/technical environment experience desirable.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification desirable.
