Health & Safety Manager | £50-55k + Package | Nr to Leicester Office / UK remits | Solar / EV | 11745

Principal People are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager in partnership with a leading Solar and EV organisation based near to Leicester. Covering a varied risk profile within this role they are looking to pay the successful candidate a salary of £50-55k + package dependant on experience.

Reporting to the General Manager the successful Health and Safety Manager will maintain a compliant and positive health and safety culture across the business, undertake a GAP analysis of the H&S requirements within the organisation, assisting with the gaining of ISO accreditations, offer future H&S strategies and undertake operational duties including risk assessments, health and safety audits, assisting with general health and safety advice and offer overall health and safety advice and support to the business. This is a standalone position giving strong autonomy to the successful individual to influence and shape the future of the business’ H&S function.

The Successful Interim H&S Advisor will hold:

• NEBOSH General Certificate minimum
• Health and Safety experience within Solar / EV environments is ideal but they are open to candidates from overall construction / infrastructure / utilities backgrounds.
• Have experience of implementing or assisting in gaining ISO accreditations.
• Be happy to work in a role split between office work and site requirements.
• Be flexible to travel a UK wide remit when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
