Healthcare Assistant

Job description

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team and work across care homes.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
• Assist residents with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Follow individual care plans and instructions from senior staff.
• Observe residents and report any changes in their condition.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health & safety procedures.
• Work effectively with Senior Carers, Registered Nurses and other care staff.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
