HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver – Nights

⏰ 4 on 4 off | 6:30pm – 6:30am

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for consistent night shifts with excellent rates of pay.

The Role

• Safely shunting trailers around the yard.
  
  
• Moving vehicles between loading bays and parking areas.
  
  
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
  
  
• Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams.
  
  
• Ensuring all trailer movements are completed safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
  
  

Hours & Pay

• 4 on 4 off
  
  
• 6:30pm – 6:30am
  
  
• £18.75 per hour
  
  
• £28.12 per hour after 9.6 hours worked each shift
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience is desirable.
  
  
• Good understanding of transport legislation and health & safety.
  
  
• Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent timekeeping.
