Job Description:

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Provider in Leicester. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to adults with multiple and complex needs.
• Manage a caseload and develop individual support plans.
• Support service users to identify and achieve personal goals.
• Help individuals develop the skills needed to live independently.
• Provide support with housing and tenancy-related issues.
• Assist with rent, rent arrears, bills, benefits and budgeting where required.
• Support individuals to maintain suitable accommodation and prevent homelessness.
• Help service users move towards permanent and sustainable housing.
• Provide advocacy and practical support where needed.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users.
• Work with local authorities, housing providers and other agencies to coordinate appropriate support.
• Maintain accurate records, support plans and case notes.
• Monitor progress and review support plans regularly.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with multiple and complex needs.
• Experience developing or delivering person-centred support.
• Good understanding of housing, accommodation or tenancy-related issues.
