Job Title: HR Administrator (part-time)
We are recruiting for an HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR and administrative activity. This role will work closely with the HR Manager, HR Adviser, other managers, and the production department to help maintain smooth operational support across the business. The position is suited to someone with strong administration experience, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and experience working in HR or another confidential setting. The successful candidate will support Workday administration, temporary staff coordination, absence tracking, induction activity, and general HR administration.
What You Will Do?
- Reset Workday corporate HR database logins and provide support with Workday holiday queries.
- Liaise with the production manager to identify current vacancies and staffing requirements.
- Arrange interviews with agencies and coordinate time slots with the shift manager.
- Conduct interviews with the relevant shift manager and provide feedback to the agency.
- Arrange induction dates and start dates with the shift manager and HSE.
- Prepare induction packs, paperwork, and induction meeting arrangements.
- Set up new starters in Workday and support onboarding activity.
- Manage weekly temporary staff timesheets and maintain regular catch-up meetings.
- Prepare contract packs for temporary-to-permanent staff and complete onboarding in Workday.
- Log sickness on the absence database, carry out return-to-work interviews, and support investigations.
- Complete late letters, pay deductions, THRIVE updates, noticeboard updates, and general filing.
Your Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a varied HR administration workload.
- Close attention to detail when handling confidential employee records and documentation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for liaison with managers, agencies, and staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
- Confidence to work independently and as part of a team with own initiative.
- Flexibility in approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience using an HR database such as Workday.
- Experience working in HR or another confidential setting, with own transport required.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.
