Have you got previous experience working within a Manufacturing/Engineering/Production environment within a health and safety capacity?
If so, then please read on.
The basics:

  • Job Title: HSE Advisor
  • Pay: up to £45,000
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday (8.00am-5.00pm) and Friday (8.00am-1.00pm)
  • Benefits: 25 days annual leave + 8 statutory holidays, Pension scheme, BUPA private healthcare, Death in service benefit.
  • Structure: Working for a large Manufacturing business, you will be the responsible person onsite for all Health and Safety. You will be working within a large group, where best practice is shared between the sites, with group Health and Safety functions to suppor

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the World we now require a HSE Advisor to join the group. You will be working for a first-class manufacturing business that have processes onsite such as precision machining and fabrication of highly regulated metal components.

Key responsibilities of the HSE Advisor role:

Working closely with the wider Health and Safety teams across the group, you will be the sole person onsite responsible for all things health and safety, you will be tasked to ensure a safe workplace and fostering safe behaviours.

The ideal candidate / HSE Advisor may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Exposure to environmental - waste management, energy savings, COSHH
  • Strong IT skills Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills - a string communicator dealing with a site of 120 employees on site

Basildon, Brentwood, Rayleigh, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
