Instrument Technician Location: Guildford / Basingstoke (Site-Based)
Type of Role: Permanent

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance activities, shutdowns, and planning
• Work across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
• Use CMMS systems to plan, prioritise, and track work
• Support plant improvements and reliability initiatives
• Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety requirements
• Support reporting, scheduling, and resource planning
• Drive maintenance performance, safety, and compliance standards

Requirements

• Background in instrumentation or electrical, NVQ/apprenticeship level
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance - mechanical, electrical, and C&I
• Experience in energy, process, or industrial environments
• Understanding of ATEX/DSEAR and hazardous area requirements
• Experience with shutdowns, maintenance planning, and CMMS systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
