Inventory Controller
Up to £26,500 P/A, depending on experience
Horsham 
Full time | Permanent | 38 hours per week 


Do you have experience working in a warehouse environment? 

Are you experienced in both warehouse practices and administration tasks? 

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their preferred recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join their team.

The main purpose of this Inventory Controller role is to support the Warehouse management team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse function, ensuring stock is received, stored correctly, audited, and any discrepancies investigated. 

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26,500 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.15pm.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory Control - conducting routine stock checks and ensuring stock is stored accurately 
  • Goods Inwards - receiving deliveries, checking stock quality, labelling and booking goods into stock management systems
  • Stock Handling - ensuring stock is audited and any discrepancies investigated 
  • Stock Quality - photographing stock and reporting any quality concerns or stock issues 

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment. 
  • Will need a good understanding of inventory/stock control processes and be comfortable being computer-based for admin tasks. 
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Will have good organisation and time management skills.
  • Must have a full driving license and own car.
