The Role

We are seeking an experienced CRM focused Business Analyst to join a technology team within a large UK organisation. You will work closely with Product Owners, engineers, testers, UX specialists and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, prioritised requirements that support effective Agile delivery. You will help define customer-focused solutions, shape product backlogs and ensure development teams have well-defined work ready for implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to identify business problems, opportunities and desired outcomes.

  • Define and refine Epics and user stories, ensuring requirements are clear, actionable and ready for development and testing.

  • Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to maintain delivery momentum and manage priorities.

  • Use data, analysis and performance metrics to support decision-making and improve delivery flow.

  • Analyse system interfaces, data flows and integration requirements, working closely with technical teams.

  • Ensure solutions meet relevant governance, compliance, security and data privacy requirements.

Essential Experience

  • Experience within a technology, digital, data or engineering environment, working alongside Agile delivery teams.

  • Strong business analysis skills, including problem-solving, requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.

  • Technical understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows and software architecture principles.

  • Experience analysing interface specifications, such as Swagger/OpenAPI, and using SQL or similar tools for data validation.

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud or Financial Services Cloud experience.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a regulated industry, ideally financial services.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

  • Experience working in small, cross-functional Agile teams.

  • Knowledge of data mapping, system analysis and backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of secure software development and data protection principles.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working is available, with an inclusive and flexible approach to working arrangements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business needs, product development and software engineering.
