IT Project Manager

£60,000 - £70,000 + bonus and comprehensive benefits

Hybrid / Leicestershire - days a week in the office

Background

I am looking for an ambitious and experienced Project Managers with a strong track record delivering large-scale IT Applications / Systems projects or with specialist integration, cutover and hyper care activities on complex transformation programmes. You will be joining a large and well recognised brand head quartered in the Midlands on at the beginning of a major programme.

This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate required to be on site 2 days per week on average at the Leicestershire office.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, testing functions, suppliers and programme leadership to ensure activities are aligned, dependencies are managed, risks are mitigated and the organisation is fully prepared for deployment and post-go-live support.

Success in this role will come from your ability to bring structure, control and pace to high-profile programme delivery, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness throughout the programme lifecycle.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience in an enterprise company environment managing a wide range of large (over £2m) IT Applications or Systems programmes.
• Proven track record coordinating multiple workstreams through testing, deployment and go-live.
• Strong experience leading Integration, Cutover and Hyper care activities.
• Experience managing complex risks, dependencies and delivery readiness activities.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management and governance experience.
• Experience supporting service transition and operational handover activities.
• Ability to operate effectively within structured programme delivery frameworks.
• Previous experience delivering programmes involving SAP S/4HANA or the wider SAP landscapes or more generalist ERP implementation experience would be great but is not essential.
