Triumph, a revered name in the motorcycle industry, is seeking an enthusiastic IT Industrial Placement student to join our team in Hinckley. Please note: This position is for Undergraduates looking for a Placement Year within their course for the academic year 2027/28 only.

Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities crucial to our IT infrastructure, including:

Stock Management: Oversee the inventory of hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, mobile phones, and cables, ensuring everything is accounted for and readily available.

Imaging and Builds: Handle the imaging and builds of PCs and laptops, guaranteeing immediate availability of equipment to meet operational demands.

Mobile Telephony Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring mobile telephones, ensuring seamless communication for our team.

DOA Testing: Conduct DOA (Dead on Arrival) testing for all received hardware to maintain the quality and reliability of our IT assets.

Ordering and Loan Management: Manage the ordering of IT consumables and oversee the booking-in and out of loan equipment, keeping everything organised and efficient.

Role Requirements:

Possess a solid foundation in Maths and English (GCSE grade C / 5 or above).

Proficiency in Microsoft Packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential for success in this role.

Only open to university students who are studying an IT or Computer science related undergraduate degree looking for a student placement for the academic year 2027/28.
