The Opportunity

Our client is a busy and growing business operating within the retail and commercial installation sector, with plenty of work already secured and a strong pipeline of projects ahead.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner / Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson looking for long-term job security, good earning potential and regular work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality joinery, fitting and installation work across a variety of retail and commercial projects.

The Role

• Carrying out joinery, fitting and installation work to a high standard.
• Installing fixtures, fittings, furniture and bespoke elements.
• Working from drawings, plans and specifications.
• Ensuring projects are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Working independently and as part of an installation team.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Resolving any fitting or installation issues on site.
• Working safely and following site requirements.
• Representing the client professionally when working on customer sites.
• Travelling to various sites as required.

About You

• Previous experience as a Joiner, Fitter, Shopfitter or similar.
• Strong practical and carpentry/joinery skills.
• Experience working on-site and completing installations.
• The ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• A professional and reliable approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to different sites.
• Relevant qualifications are advantageous, although proven experience and practical ability are the key requirements.

Package & Benefits

• Salary increasing to £45,000 after successful completion of probation
• Overtime paid when required
• 40 hours per week
