KS1 Teacher - Trafford
Locations: Trafford (Sale, Altrincham and Stretford)
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm.
Contract: Temporary. Temp to perm opportunities may be available.
Start: ASAP
Pay: GBP150.00 - GBP200 per day depending on qualifications and experience
Are you a reliable and ambitious Primary Teacher looking for a new KS1 opportunity?
Prospero Teaching is seeking candidates to join our pool of qualified teachers for welcoming Trafford schools on a supply basis - daily or long-term depending on your preferences. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
KS1 Teacher - about the role:
- Teaching a KS1 class (Year 1 or Year 2)
- Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
- Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
KS1 Teacher - candidate requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in KS1 is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
