KS2 Teacher 

Location: NW10, London
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)

A welcoming mainstream primary school in NW10 is looking for a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher to join its teaching team, with the opportunity to teach either Year 4 or Year 5. This is a fantastic opportunity for a QTS-qualified teacher looking to join a supportive school that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.

About the Role

  • Teach a Year 4 or Year 5 class

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly

  • Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs

  • Develop strong and positive relationships with pupils

  • Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community

  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

About You

  • QTS is essential

  • Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4 or Year 5

  • Confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Able to differentiate effectively to meet individual pupil needs

  • Warm, enthusiastic and committed to pupil development

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Passionate about teaching and creating a positive learning environment

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
