KS2 Primary Teacher – Nottingham (QTS Required)

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Job Title: KS2 Teacher / Key Stage 2 Teacher / Primary School Teacher

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Supply / Long-Term / Permanent Opportunities

Start Date: Immediate / January 2027

Pay Rate: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience and responsibilities

Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required

Experience: Primary school teaching experience desirable

Overview

Education Personnel are recruiting enthusiastic and committed KS2 Primary Teachers in Nottingham to support our partner primary schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We are keen to hear from qualified Primary School Teachers with experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6.

Whether you are an experienced KS2 Teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or a qualified primary teacher returning to the classroom, Education Personnel can help you find a suitable teaching opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the KS2 national curriculum.

• Teach core subjects including English, Maths and Science.

• Support pupil progress in reading, writing and Mathematics.

• Assess learning and adapt teaching to different pupil needs.

• Prepare pupils for the transition between Key Stage 2 year groups and into secondary education.

• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning requirements.

• Maintain effective classroom management and positive relationships with pupils.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching in a UK primary school.

• Has good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

• Is confident teaching Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6.

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability.

• Can plan, deliver and assess engaging primary lessons.

• Is committed to providing inclusive and high-quality education.
