Solar Panel Labourer - Wanted - Immediate Start!

Leicester | Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 Per Hour DOE

Temporary  Full-Time

Are you a hardworking Labourer with an interest in Renewable Energy?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Solar Panel Labourer to join a growing renewable energy contractor operating across Leicester and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role supporting solar installation teams on both commercial and residential projects. The successful candidate will assist with the safe installation of solar PV systems whilst maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Previous construction or labouring
• Previous experience assisting with Solar PV installations
• Valid CSCS Card
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Desirable:

• IPAF Certification
• PASMA Certification
• Working at Height experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assisting Solar PV Installers with the installation of solar panel systems
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site safely
• Supporting roof-mount and ground-mount solar installations
• Using hand and power tools under supervision
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Assisting with lifting and positioning solar panels and mounting systems
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of an installation team
• Reporting any site hazards or safety concerns immediately
• Undertaking general labouring duties as required

Requirements

As a Solar Panel Labourer, you will also be expected to:

• Arrive on site punctually and maintain excellent attendance
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and installation engineers
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Health, Safety & Compliance

All employees are required to:

• Comply with all employment legislation and site regulations
• Work in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Take reasonable care of their own safety and that of colleagues
• Follow all company and client health and safety procedures
• Report accidents, incidents, and hazards promptly
