Skilled Careers is currently recruiting for a Labourer in Leicester LE8 for 3 days' work, starting Monday 02/11/2026 on a housing site.

£17 per hour

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
• Must be able to provide references from previous employers
• Valid ID (right-to-work documentation required upon hire)
• Full PPE

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves physical work and requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas
• Operate basic machinery and tools as required, following safety protocols
• Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance where needed
• Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety practices on-site
• Report any issues or hazards to management promptly

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a labouring role or similar environment is advantageous but not essential
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is preferred
• A valid driving licence is beneficial for transporting materials when necessary
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills are essential
