Legal Secretary – Commercial Property - Hybrid
£26000 - £31000 plus benefits (See below)

LM Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Property team in Leicester.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Legal Secretary to provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within a busy Commercial Property team. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and confidence using the systems and software needed to support commercial property matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, amending and formatting documents, including copy typing, producing new versions and tracking changes
- Accurate typing from digital dictation, and preparing correspondence, reports, leases and other property-related documents
- Answering telephone calls professionally and taking accurate messages
- Opening, maintaining and closing client/matter files, including accurate filing
- Managing fee earner diaries and supporting meeting arrangements and logistics
- General administrative duties including scanning, printing, photocopying and preparing documents for signature
- Supporting property transactions — searches, Land Registry and Companies House documentation, Stamp Duty Land Tax returns, and completion/post-completion administration, as directed by fee earners
- Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors and third parties to obtain information and provide updates
- Supporting fee earners with time recording, billing and routine account queries
Client-Facing Duties
- Delivering a high-quality, client-focused service
- Preparing accurate correspondence and legal documents
- Handling client enquiries appropriately in a fee earner's absence, escalating where needed
Skills & Experience
- Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High level of IT literacy, with confidence using document and case management systems
- Accurate preparation of legal documents and property-related forms
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Previous legal secretarial experience is desirable; commercial property experience would be an advantage
