Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Leicester, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £37k + Training & Benefits

A privately-owned Legionella / Water Hygiene specialist is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. You will be conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems, to highlight any compliance risks to clients, and making recommendations for remedial works. Applicants must have strong industry technical knowledge and will be able to manage their own workload efficiently. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Strong communication skills

The Role:

• Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Producing detailed technical reports, to highlight any areas of concern
• Making appropriate recommendations for remedial works
• Meeting with clients to provide advice after completing risk assessments, and answering any technical queries
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring where needed
• Working to set personal performance targets
• Representing the company in a professional manner
• Servicing a wide variety of premises, including: commercial, domestic and industrial
