Job Description:
This established and growing independent lift company are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to support their Major Projects division. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Lift Engineer with supervisory experience to join a business delivering major repairs and modernisation projects across their portfolio in the Midlands.
As a Project Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Supervising major repair and modernisation projects from planning through to completion
- Supporting and coordinating engineers and subcontractors on site
- Monitoring project progress to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget
- Providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams
- Liaising with customers, site contacts and internal departments
- Managing project materials, logistics and site administration
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Reporting project updates and performance to senior management
- Leading by example and supporting the development of engineering teams
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A background in lift engineering with experience in major repairs, modernisation, installation or service
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
- NVQ/QCF Level 4 (desirable)
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within the lift industry
- Strong technical knowledge across a variety of lift products
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- The ability to motivate, develop and lead engineers
