LIMS Developer / Scientific Systems Developer

£40,000–£55,000

We are looking for an experienced LIMS Developer / Scientific Systems Developer to join an established organisation operating within a specialist scientific environment.

The role will focus on developing, maintaining and integrating laboratory and business-critical software systems, supporting technical improvements and ensuring effective data exchange between applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and enhance laboratory and business systems.
• Build and maintain integrations between LIMS and third-party applications.
• Work with SQL databases, APIs, XML and data integration technologies.
• Support system testing, validation, upgrades and change control.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities for improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Experience developing, configuring or integrating LIMS or scientific software systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, APIs, XML and systems integration.
• Experience with C#, .NET or similar programming languages.
• Understanding of regulated laboratory environments and software validation.
• Experience with SampleManager, LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage or similar systems would be advantageous.

Candidates with strong transferable software development and integration experience will also be considered.
