Litigation Solicitor – Leicester - £50-60K – GD 1316

Are you an experience Litigation Solicitor looking for a new role? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable High Street firm based in the heart of Leicester, seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their team.

THE ROLE:

As a Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload, providing expert advice and representation across both civil and commercial litigation matters. This role involves working with a broad client base, handling disputes ranging from contractual issues and property disputes, to debt recovery and contentious probate.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction to completion.
• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiating settlements.
• Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Liaising with clients, other solicitors, and court personnel in a professional manner.
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff when required.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role,  you need to:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in Litigation (Civil or Commercial)
• Have a strong understanding of the litigation process and proven advocacy skills.
• Have excellent communication and client care abilities.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
