Logistics Administrator

Nottingham Office (Hybrid)
6 Month Contract | £30,000 Pro Rata | Immediate Start | Extension Highly Likely

Immediate requirement for a proactive Logistics Administrator to support end-to-end shipping, warehouse coordination and operational logistics for a busy Nottingham-based operation.

This is a fast-paced, communication-heavy role working closely with 3PL providers, warehouse teams, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure goods are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time.

The Role

• Coordinate goods collection, outbound shipping and cross-docking
• Liaise with 3PL partners regarding pickups, ETAs and delivery updates
• Maintain shipping logs, proof of delivery (POD) and tracking records
• Monitor inbound / outbound POs and project stock levels
• Maintain accurate warehouse and logistics documentation
• Support domestic and international shipments and associated documentation
• Investigate delivery issues, delays and discrepancies and drive them through to resolution
• Escalate operational issues where required

The Person

• Previous logistics, warehouse administration or supply chain coordination experience is essential
• Good working knowledge of an ERP system - [preferably SAP S/4HANA]
• Experience with domestic and international shipping; knowledge of customs and shipping documentation advantageous
• Customer service experience, with the confidence to resolve end-mile delivery issues
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform under time pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Confident working across 3PLs, warehouses, customers and internal stakeholders
• Available for an immediate start
